Every year Dirt2Table holds a “Foodraiser”. This event is a “Plant Share”using the “Gift Economy” model.
A gift economy is a type of exchange where valuables are not traded or sold, but rather given without an expectation of anything in return – now or in the future. This event is designed to educate community members about backyard food production. Our volunteers plant every plant from seed. Each year we grow more plants to get out into the community.
