UPDATE: March 28, 2020
We hope this finds you safe and well. It’s been quite a roller coaster ride the past week (figuratively and literally!).
We have planted over 9.000 seeds and the seedlings are growing fast. We are preparing plants to be ordered and distributed as in years past. We will let you know when we are ready to accept orders. That will likely be in a few weeks.
The actual plant sale event is transformed to a virtual event. You will be able to order your plants online and get plants. We are diligently working on a system that will allow people to get their garden plants that adheres to the mass gathering recommendations. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, please move forward with preparing your garden areas. We have also created a Dirt 2 Table public Facebook group to provide networking with gardners to provide solidarity resources and support in these times. https://www.facebook.com/groups/dirt2table/
We are committed to building community resilience during a time with challenges in socializing. We feel confident that we as a community will arise from this crisis more cohesive and resilient than ever before. Growing food empowers communities to unite in ways that not only provide fresh food but also builds stronger communities in general. Please join us in overcoming this crisis by engaging in community growth, empowerment and solidarity through the production of food.
We appreciate your support and will be sending out announcements as appropriate.
Stay safe and well!
